description Lizard (Eutropis multifasciata Kuhl.) is one of the Lacertiliaans which is able to regenerate its tail after autotomy. During wound healing phase need angiogenesis. Spinal cord of lizard tail in wound healing phase able to stimulate angiogenesis. Tokay gecko is China�s traditional medicine for inflamation, allergy, irritation and acute wound. The objective of this research is to learn the effect of gecko�s saliva to angiogenesis, in wound healing phase of lizard tail and to know protein profile of gecko�s saliva. To learn the effect of gecko�s saliva to wound healing phase of lizard tail, 12 lizards were autotomized, then divided to 4 groups. Wound surface imersed by young gecko�s saliva (P1), adult gecko�s saliva (P2), human�s saliva (P3) twice per day and without saliva imerse (K). The morphology of wound surface and long time of wound healing observed 8 days. To know the effect of gecko�s saliva to angiogenesis, 48 lizards were autotomized, divided to 3 treatment groups and 1 kontrol group. Wound surface imersed by young gecko�s saliva (S1), adult gecko�s saliva (S2), human�s saliva (S3) twice per day and without saliva imerse (WS). three lizard of each groups taken to spinal cord in the caudal vertebra in wound healing phase 1th, 2th, 3th and 4th day. Spinal cord then implanted on Chorio Allantois Membrane (CAM) of chicken embryo 9 days old. The implanted eggs were kept on egg incubator fo 72 hours at 37,5�C. After 72 hours, eggs opened and the new blood vessel which is concern to the implant photographed, observed and calculated. To know protein profile of young & adult gecko�s saliva and human�s saliva conducted with SDS-PAGE. The result showed that gecko�s saliva able to accelerating wound healing phase of lizard tail after autotomy. Young and adult gecko�s saliva able to stimulate angiogenesis in wound healing of lizard tail. Protein profile of young and adult gecko�s saliva were different from human�s saliva.
