Summary:All this time, banana stem waste has not been used well. If people make use it properly, it can increase the economic value. Banana stem contain the chemical substances such as selulose, hemiselulose, and lignin. Before the hydrolysis they contain 27,86% of selulose , 12,08% of lignin 35,95% of hemiselulose, and 0,03% of glucose. After hydrolysis they contain 0, 52% of selulose, 1,23% of lignin, 0,44% of hemiselulose, and 1,14% of glucose. Based on the result of laboratory analysis, the banana stem waste consists of C/N with the ratio 35,28%. This research is to find out the variety of the proper time of the hydrolysis prosess and to know the influence of the addition of the banana srem waste to the mixture of the cow manure to performence of the biogas production. The research methodologies which are used consist of two steps. The first step is by using the variety hydrolysis times that is, 15�, 30�, 45� and 60�. The second step is by adding the banana stem waste on the variety of 60�, with the comparations of mixsture of the cow manure are: 1:2, 1:3, 1:4. The research is done by using batch anaerobic reactor, and the observation is held for 30 days. The measure of the gas volume is done every day, while the experiment on the level metana gas is held on the 30 th day by using the chromatography gas (CG). The result of the research is that the banana stem wast of the result of hydrolysis process can improve the performence on biogas production as the mixture of 1:1 with the time variety hydrolysis of 60�will produce the better metana gas. Based on the result of laboratory analysis, the data of production accumulation of biogas production and the metana gas concentrate, it is obtained 28,1662% of metana gas.
