Summary:Hospital of Santa Clara Madiun in the face of changing external and internal environment through the internal organization must be properly and healthy, neatly arranged in a strategy to achieve its vision and mission so that it can live, grow, benefit for Madiun people and surrounding communities. The general objective of this research is to identify an appropriate strategic planning to anticipate changes that will occur in the external and internal environment in order to achieve long term goals can be kept alive, growing and beneficial while for particular purpose is to identify factors that influence internal and external planning strategic. This research is a descriptive case study. Acquisition of data is done by conducting field studies through in-depth interviews with hospital management. Data is processed using IFAS matrix, EFAS matrix, SWOT matrix, and SFAS matrix. IFAS analysis indicated weighted score of 4.40 that mean the hospital respond strongly strategic factors in its internal environment. Weighted score of EFAS was 3.93 revealing that Santa Clara Hospital of Madiun can use opportunity optimally and can deal with existing threat. Weighted score for SFAS was 4.35 that indicated that Santa Clara Hospital of Madiun responded the strategic factor above other similar. SWOT analysis resulted in four alternative strategies: SO strategy, ST strategy, strategy WO and WT strategy.
