Objectives: To evaluate the planning needs of the medicine in Gowa
District Health Office of South Sulawesi Province in 2008 and 2009, know
the description of the planning needs of the medicine, the medicine needs
to know the process of planning and planning efficiency needs of medicine
Methods: The study is descriptive exploratory. Data collected in the form
of quantitative data through observation of documents in Gowa District
Health Office, and qualitative data in the form of in-depth interviews.
Results: The medicine use indicators demand planning results showed
that in Gowa: Percentage of Medicine Funds of between 13% -13.8%,
Accuracy Planning only 2,7% or just 1 item right medicine in the planning,
adequacy of medicine is only just 41,6% or only 15 item in the planning of
appropriate medications, average inventory of between 32% Excess
Medicine -33.83%, there is still stock Blanks MEDICINEs between 2% -
15.4%, There is still a stock Off MEDICINEs with an average of 37% -
66.95%, doen MEDICINE Data between 75% -77.27%, Medicine
Damaged / Expired with a percentage between 1% -1.85%.
Conclusion: Based on the results of research in Gowa 1) No Medicines
Integrated Planning Team, there are no operational work so that the
planning process need not be implemented in accordance with the
guidelines 2) Human Resources (HR) is still lacking, inadequate facilities
and infrastructure in the conduct of planning medicines, the budget
available does not meet the required 3) The planning process needs
medicine has not been efficient, because the budget plan does not fit the
required amount of budget, planning items, quantity, and type of
medicines are not in accordance with the required medication, many
medicines are excessive, less, medicine death and medicines and
medicine blank damaged/expired. |
