| Summary: | This research is aimed to describe and analyze the process of
development planning in Sorong Selatan regency and describe and analyze the
implementation �musrenbang� conducted by the Sorong Selatan Regency.
Research area is located in Sorong selatan Regency.
The research method is interviews and observations, both ways are used
because this method is quite effective to perform data retrieval both primary and
secondary data. In addition, the type of research conducted was descriptive
research.
The results of this study are: 1). The process of development planning in
Sorong Selatan regency realized by implementation �musrenbang� ranging from
village level to district level, 2). The fundamental problem in planning can be
classified into two: internal constraints and external constraints, 3). Sorong
Selatan regency government perform a variety of efforts to overcome these
obstacles include: Local authorities make approaches to the community, through
the community leaders, traditional leaders, religious leaders, youth leaders and
women leaders, local government district of Sorong Selatan to socialize about the
importance of a regional planning process for the community, Sorong Selatan
regency administration increasing the commitment and budgetary policies as well
as to realize development programs that are considered strategic, local
governments work with communities in order to complete the data and
information about the condition of an area for community local know and
understand more about the area
