| description | This study aims to determine the level balanced with the news on Warta Bengkulu
news program on TVRI Bengkulu and want to know the public perception of Warta
Bengkulu news program in TVRI Bengkulu and correlation between balanced with
the news on the Warta Bengkulu news program with the public perception Bengkulu
City in the Warta Bengkulu news program on TVRI Bengkulu. The research was
conducted using the combined methods of quantitative and qualitative approaches
that is Mix Methode, quantitative approach to survey research methods, for
qualitative analysis using descriptive methods. Study sample using purposive
sampling technique as many as 40 people from academia that consists of faculty and
students from the University of Bengkulu, Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu,
Hazairin University and Dehasen University. Informants interviewed in the
qualitative approach as much as 5 people who are all practitioners and employees of
mass media in Bengkulu. The results showed that balanced with the news on Warta
Bengkulu news program on TVRI Bengkulu fairly balanced, and public perception of
Warta Bengkulu news program on TVRI Bengkulu good enough, as well as through
Spearman Rank correlation test is known to have a positive relationship between the
news balanced with public perceptions, more balanced news Warta Bengkulu news
program at TVRI Bengkulu in the higher public perception of Warta Bengkulu news
program on TVRI Bengkulu. Conclusions in this study that the elements balanced
with the news that is a resource on Warta Bengkulu news program at TVRI Bengkulu
is on the level fairly balanced as well as news on program content in which there are
Warta Bengkulu title, news leads and the body has also been fairly balanced, so
balanced with the news on Warta Bengkulu news program on TVRI Bengkulu there
is sufficient balance on the current level. Public perception of Warta Bengkulu news
program that is pretty good in terms of perspective, issues and the role in assisting
regional development. With this basis that the public perception of Warta Bengkulu
news program on TVRI Bengkulu being said. There are positive and significant
correlation between balanced with the news on Warta Bengkulu news program on
TVRI Bengkulu with public perception of Warta Bengkulu news program on TVRI
Bengkulu. |
