Summary: | Indragiri River Basin has been growth from forestry to agriculture, farming and
residence. Those growth causes degradation of Indragiri River Basin to response
precipitation, that visible from reduced of water availability every years. Therefore, to
prevent continued decline of Indragiri River Basin quality, it would require an effort to
overcome.
This research performed on Indragiri River Basin with control point at Pulau
Berhalo, by using Mock method. Based on data available, existing condition of Indragiri River Basin has been predicted to further conducted simulation until 2020. Therefore, simulation result was evaluated for alternative treatment plan.
Based on the simulation of alternative treatment with scenario of land cover index by
30%, then in 2020 the ratio of, maximum monthly discharge against the minimum monthly discharge decreased to 1.65 from 1.8, meanwhile the recharge ratio in 2020 rose to 42.39% from 36.89%.
