Method: The design of this study was quasi-experimental design with nonrandomized
pretest-posttest control group. The number of samples used
was 80 respondents. Analysis of the data used is the analysis univariabel,
bivariabel analysis using Chi-square, t-test with a significance level of p
<0.05 and multivariable analysis using linear regression..
Results: The analysis showed that the participation of the husband in the
KMC change greater in infants weight in comparison with a husband with
value of p tidakmengikutsertakan 0.001, support that the husband does
not have a significant relationship value of p, or 240, maternal education
has an important relationship value of p 0,028, use of the mother has no
relationship 0.655 significant staff p value, health support have a
significant relationship and social support 0,007 value of p have a
significant relationship value of p 0.010.
Conclusion: The participation of the husband in the education of KMC,
the mother, support staff of health and social support had a significant
