Research on law violations committed by a notary who is connected with the
duties of this position is a research and sociological / empirical, ie research that is
based on field research to obtain secondary data in the field of law and to support
the data obtained from field research was also conducted library research
Form of lawlessness ever undertaken by a notary in the city of Padang is
embezzlement certificate, once proven, then the regional superintendent Assembly
in the form of sanctioning a very firm verbal warning. The imposition of sanctions
against the notary who violates the law adjusted to the quality of the violations
committed by the Notary. The Regional Supervisory Council action against
notaries who violate the law in the city of Padang, one of which is to give sanction
to the notary who violate the law, and sanctions that may be brought to the notary
who proved to have committed the offense are: verbal warning, written aims,
sanctions against notary public in the form of suspension from office who is
suspended, while the sanction of dismissal with respect and disrespect. Obstacles
encountered by the Regional Council of Supervisors of Padang in performing
their duties is a matter concerning a notary accountability within the scope of the
Regional Assembly Supervisor, Criminal, Civil Code, Code of ethics, in terms of
the scope of the Regional Council of Trustees of the constraints faced by the
authority and financing. Assembly area supervisors have limited authority, is
entitled to receive reports from the public. Supervisory Regional Assembly can
only check the notary who violate the law, after the examination will be reported
to the Supervisory Council of the Territory, which would impose sanctions if the
notary public notary convicted kesalahan.an limited, only eligible to receive
