| Summary: | The Mbaham Matta clan has a very large communal land in the Eastern District Fakfak
Fakfak. Customary land often experiences may conflict. Traditional land leds to the frequent
land to conflicts and hinde devlopment. This study aims to (1) to nowing how the comangement
in land utilization has been done, (2) to determine utilization vot indigenous land and. (3) to
determine factors that affect conflict resolution.
In the process of collaborative land utilization, there is a difference of perception between
indigenous peoples (tribes Mbaham Matta with Clans Temongmere) and with the government.
Such u differences include the extents, the sale, and the purchase of land ownership and
utilization of indigenous/land use together. The efforts undertaken by the government to resolve
land use conflicts was by taking the legal matters and, conduct consultations with indigenous
peoples. Local people also expect the government to help to improve the lives of indigenous
