| Summary: | Bank Indonesia established PBI No. 8/16/PBI/2006 concerning Single
Presence Policy In Indonesian Banks, with a purpose that this policy would be
able to support the consolidation of banking business strategy, as well to manage
the business competition aspect in banking industry. The aim of the study is to
find out and analyze how far the target fulfillment of Single Presence Policy is,
and to analyze the obstacles in the implementation of the policy and the efforts
carried out by Bank Indonesia to deal with them.
The method of the study used in this study is law research with normative
approach by carrying out the investigation about the synchronization of regulation
which is related to central theme of the study |
