Research Station of Gadjah Mada University, Jogjakarta. In two stands of<br />
(eak and acasia located adjacent to each other, it is observed that teak of<br />
the first order row (the closest to acacia row) grew better than that of the<br />
second and third rows which arefurther awayfrom the acacia.<br />
Since the informations may benefit agroforestry development<br />
around Wanagama, this study was carried out by measuring teak growth<br />
parameters, roots-intensity in the interface areas, and analysis of soil<br />
obtainedfrom interface areas at three different depths (0-10 em, 10-20 em,<br />
and 20-40 em). The Interface areas are classified as : A (teak-acacia), B<br />
(teak-teak 1 st order), C( teak-teak, 2nd order), D (acacia-acacia 1st order),<br />
and E (acacia-acacia 2 nd order).<br />
Results showed that the average height of teak at interface area A,<br />
B, and Care 12.2m |
