Summary: | <div align="justify">Blood contamination will influence the quality of root canal obturation. The aims of this research was to know the influence of blood contamination on root canal apical leakage using three kinds of root canal sealer namely zinc oxide eugenol, resin and calcium hydroxide. Forty two anterior teeth were prepared and divided into six groups: AI, BI, CI, A2, B2 and C2. Group A filled with zinc oxide eugenol sealer, group B with resin sealer and group C with calcium hydroxide sealer. Group AI,BI and CI were obturated under dry condition while group A2,B2 and C2 were contaminated by blood.
