| Summary: | The purpose of this study was to inventory figures thinker / philosopher who discusses
cultural development. describe, and demonstrate specificity thoughts. Culture in this study
includes the elements of a broad culture related to artifacts, behavior and human thought or
idea. Includes the implementation in the life of the country both in terms of social and cultural
life, state institutions and life in the course of a long history.
This research is a library research. The research was done by reading the sources of
information in the form of research, textbooks, writing in the blogs, and other writings which
utilized complementary. The analysis was done by interpretation, analysis, systematization
and description.
The results showed that there are quite a lot of thinkers/philosophers that discussed the
development of culture in the broad sense to the specific thoughts. This is based on the focus
of study, science background, personal life and also the external aspects such as
environmental factors, social and political. Still found a few figures have ever referred to to
this issue and require exploration
