Summary: | The management of medicines in hospitals is a series of activities
pertaining to management function, including : selection, procurement,
distribution and use of drugs. Pharmacy is one of the functions of managing
pharmaceutical supplies, and then it becomes important for pharmacy to control
the supply of drug. A good inventory control will support and accelerate the
availability of drug services provided.
The research method chosen is the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity)
methode with ROP (Reorder Point) attention to drug group A in the ABC critical
index analysis. A group of drugs in the ABC critical index analysis by 41 drug
items of total 1986 drug items or by 2.07 %. An intervention is to apply the EOQ
method with ROP to drugs of group A critical index analysis. Parameters to be
measured are the value of inventories, ITOR (Inventory Turn Over Ratio), and
customer service level before the intervention, during intervention and after
intervention. Observations made 3 weeks before the intervention, 12 weeks during
the intervention and 3 weeks after the intervention.
The results obtained showed a decrease in inventory value before the
intervention and after intervention from Rp. 1,826,163,397.00 to Rp.
1,390,595,750.00 or around 23.85%
