significant impact to not only to the social life, economic-psychology but also
physical environment. �Kapal PLTD Apung� was one of ships that was moved for
about 5 km from Ulee-lheu port to Punge Blang Cut sub district. However, this
ship, then gives business opportunity and becomes tourism site of Kapal PLTD
Apung and Tsunami Educational Park.
This research aims to address how far the enhancement of managerial
activities of conducted by Punge Blang Cut young generation and to assess
visitors opinion about service quality of management in order to manage this
tourism area. This research use deductive descriptive-qualitative method.
The research found that the overall management conducted by Punge
Blang Cut young generation is good. It can be categoried as informal type of
management, but is it satisfied enough. In addition, the visitor�s perception
towards the management of the site is also considered good or satisfied. Such
condition should be considered by the goverment to improve the management
system in the future.
