American invasion to Afghanistan in 2001. This thesis analyzes how powerful the
role and strategy of neoconservative group in American invasion to Afghanistan
in 2001. This research employs library research method. Discussion and analysis
based on data collected from literatures relevant to topic of this research focus: the
role and strategy of neoconservative group in American invasion to Afghanistan
in 2001. Result of discussion and analysis are presented in descriptive-analytic
review.
Results of this research show that the role and strategy of neoconservative
becomes very powerful in American foreign policy. This group has networks that
spread in various lines and has solid relationship with their key supporters. They
have qualified organizations and professional staffs that keep contact continually
with American foreign policy decision makers. They have also certain procedures
in formulating and struggling for their pursuits, therefore they could influence
American foreign policy decision according to their wishes. American foreign
policy of Afghanistan invasion in 2001 becomes a rational product of
neoconservative. According to them, America has to be reactive in responding
condition by war on terrorism. America has to implant influence and American
hegemony as the only superpower country of the world, a global security
guaranteed. |
