| Summary: | This study titled LEGAL PROTECTION OF COPYRIGHT
HOLDERS OF PHOTOGRAPHIC WORKS IN INDONESIA. This research
was triggered by the growing problem of intellectual property rights, especially
copyright of photography. Main issues to be answered in this research is how the
legal protection of the copyright ho lder of photography in Indonesia that occurred
in the case of the Commercial Court Decision Number 50/HAK CIPTA /
2005/PN.NIAGA.JKT.PST.
This research was conducted with a normative juridical approach of the
method of approach which focuses on the juridical aspects of analyzing the
problem from the point of view / by applicable law or the laws that apply in this
case used Undang-undang Nomor 19 tahun 2002 tentang Hak Cipta.
The results of this study indicate that the decision of the Commercial
Court Number 50/HAK CIPTA/2005/PN.NIAGA.JKT.PST has provided legal
protection for photographic works, in addition to legal regulations and legislation
in Indonesia has provided legal protection to copyright holders photography, this
is evidenced by the enactment of Undang-undang Nomor 19 tahun 2002 tentang
Hak Cipta. |
