| Summary: | The use of information and communication technologies (ICT) has
become very important as media or device to realize the vision and mission of
local government as whole. The use of information and technology on the
government is called e-Government.
The study aims to see how far the potential of e-Government role in
accelerating development in Sragen and what indicator are used to measure the
use or e-Government in accelerating development in the region. This research
used descriptive approach with qualitative analysis, by reviewing literature and
unstructured interviews with managers and users of e-Government in Sragen.
The research showed that the local government of Sragen has been using
e-Government as one device to accelerate the development. In terms of and
human resource it has accelerated significantly over the last few year and other
words the e-Government in Sragen has positive impact on economic development,
human resources and infrastructures. |
