Soedirman Dam.
Many solving activities have done on site to reduce the sedimentation such as
dredging, flushing, check dam, and underwater sill. But they did not show an
optimal result to solve this sedimentation case. To know water and sedimentation
characteristic, simulation with SMS (Surface-water Modelling System) version 8.1
program will be used to get that solving.
This research result shows wet and dry season�s water velocity are relative
same about 0,000176 m/s (node A on wet season) through 0,00752 m/s (node E on
dry season). Relative comparison the simulation result with SMS 8.1 model
simulation result that 2002 has the greatest score 20,12% and 2001 has the
smallest score -23,99%. As the conclusion, SMS 8.1 program can be used to know
a sedimentation on PB. Soedirman, Banjarnegara District, Central Java
