Summary: | The agricultural sector is the part that requires the most water needs. In
addition to the purposes of agricultural productivity, also caused inefficiencies the
water irrigation in Bedegolan, of course, it is influenced by factors that are technical
or non technical. So efficiency irrigation is important to be research to know, how
much effect from a technical, social, economic and environmental factor size
influenced the efficiency water irrigation.
The method used in this study is to use questionnaires and surveys in the field.
The indicator of assess on efficiency the water irrigation by the method of scoring on
each component's point of view. The size of the scoring known from a technical
standpoint, social, economic and environmental value of indicates of the size of the
effect of irrigation water efficiency. Approach to increase the efficiency of irrigation
water is done with MADM analysis, by setting priorities repair irrigation components
that have an influence on each technical point of view, social, economic and
environmental
From the results of the study showed that dominant social factors on the
efficiency of irrigation water Bedegolan area, it is shown in the results of analysis
scoring the social point of view of 18,42. it is highest scoring from the technical point
of view of 17,45 the economic point of view of 12,28 and environment for of 9,05.
The dominancy of social factor is influenced the people's behavior in irrigation water
management do it, although from a technical as knowledge support water-saving
technology, good building irrigation, the availability of sufficient irrigation water, as
well as economic and environmental factors. Because the components of efficiency
both in terms of technical, economic, environmental is difficult to apply and there is
no community support and participation of farmers. The problems above were not
consistent from perception of the government policy (policy makers such as the
Department of Natural Resources, Department of agriculture, Gapoktan, P3A, village
government). From the results of AHP analysis, showed that the efficiency of
irrigation water is influenced by technical factors of 56,67% the social factor of
26,39% the economic factors of 9,67% and environmental factors 7,27%. The
perception is reversed with the conditions of irrigation water efficiency issues in the
farming communities and government policy.
