description This research was a normative low research. The research aimed to comprehend if it could be canceled or not a land which had been certificated by Kantor Pertanahan Kota Yogyakarta and the land has had a certainty law based on court decision. On the other hand, it aimed to comprehend how the procedure to change the right to the winner in a court decision and the procedure of changing to its heirs. The data which had been used was secondary data which involved primary and secondary law material. Primary law material was obtained by field research by using interview. Secondary law material was obtained by library study by using documentation. The location was Yogyakarta, by consideration that it had a court decision which would be made a fundamental right in changing the land right. The result indicated that the certificate should not be made cancellation, because in the procedure of certificate all the requirements had been completed. The court decision had been decided who had a right to the land, so that by the decision, it would be made a fundamental right by Kantor Pertanahan to make the changing process to the owner. The changing procedure of the right to the land would be conducted by Kantor Pertanahan Kota Yogyakarta, after all the requirements and payment receipts of tax were given to Kantor Pertanahan Kota Yogyakarta. The heirs could made the changing process of the land right to Kantor Pertanahan Kota Yogyakarta by giving all the requirements which had been stipulated and Kantor Pertanahan would be made changing of the subject data of right at the certification and the land book.
