| Summary: | Java island has high population density in limited area that forest
management is highly dependent of the concept of participative and environment
friendly management. Therefore, the presence of farmer community represents
one of the fundamental requirements not only in obtaining as much uses as
possible, but also in holding mandate, being responsible for the preservation and
the improvement of the function of the forest.
The study aims at analyzing the structure and the composition of Sengonbased
agroforest at some land levels in Ciamis district and the system/the pattern
of the agroforest at some land levels in Ciamis district.
The results of the study show that (1) the structure and the composition of
the agroforest at some land levels in Ciamis district are dominated by Sengon
(Paraserianthes falcataria) at various levels |
