Summary: | This research assessed the existing zoning already is in accordance with the criteria in the national park zoning guidelines, especially regarding environmental aspects. This study aims 1) inventoring environmental conditions of TNTC zoning in SPTN Region V Rumberpon, 2) knowing suitable of environmental conditions on the TNTC zoning SPTN Region V Rumberpon with criteria of national park zoning, and 3) creating strategies for environmental management from suitable analysis of TNTC zoning.
This research area was in SPTN Region V Rumberpon at January-April 2011. The method was used a survey method based on zoning units to evaluate the environmental conditions. Variable zoning criteria used were a parameter of sensitivity area for land, marine physical parameters including temperature, pH, salinity and brightness, critical habitats, important species (endemic), habitat of migratory animals and socioeconomic parameters, including: the potential of tourism, and nature resource utilization activities. Suitability analysis done by matching the national park zoning criteria with existing conditions.
Existing zoning environmental conditions can be described as follows: marine physical parameters (temperature, pH, brightness and salinity) showed normal conditions in accordance with the sea water quality standard
