| Summary: | Inter-regional networking or also well-known as interregional association has been wide-spreading phenomenon inregional autonomy. The initial idea and spirit of networking, in
fact, has not sufficiently driven association. Some problems
have existed and they causes an association not able to perform
proper function It is relevant, therefore, to conduct a research on
networking issue.
This research adopted descriptive-narrative method
describing the work of Badan Percepatan Pembangunan Kawasan
Teluk (BP2KT) of West Papua province in networking activities.
Data were gathered through desk study involving literature and
documentation studies. Textual data supplementation and data
validity cross-checking were conducted by performing interviews
with several key actors.
This research identified that the BP2KT had not performed
real activities yet, and it was vacuum and stagnant. This was due to
less-maturity of the organization. The organization was embryonic
