Summary:The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the effect of transformational leadership toward work stress and job satisfaction. This study identifies the factors that contribute to transformational leadership, work stress, and job satisfaction. Data was collected through questionnaire. The approach taken was quantitative analyses of 104 employees (n=104) of operational department in Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (BTMU), Jakarta branch. Correlation and Multiple Regression tests were used to test the hypotheses. The results indicated that transformational leadership was found to have a negative correlation and have a strong significant effect towards job stress and Job stress were found to have a negative correlation and significantly strong effect towards job satisfaction.
