To be able to compete with competitors, PGN should improve the quality of its human resources. One way to improve the quality of human resources is to increase employee satisfaction, so that employees will have a high commitment to promote their company. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of job satisfaction on employee organizational commitment in PGN, and to know the difference between job satisfaction to working relationship and organizational commitment to working relationship, the difference between job satisfaction to period of employment and organizational commitment to period of employment, as well as differences in working satisfaction to educational background and organizational commitment to educational background. This research was carried out using simple regression analysis and chi-square analysis. Simple regression analysis is used to determine the effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment, while the chi-square analysis conducted to determine the difference between job satisfaction to working relationship and organizational commitment to working relationship, the difference between job satisfaction to period of employment and organizational commitment to period of employment, as well as differences in working satisfaction to educational background and organizational commitment to educational background. This research discovered that there is a positive influence job satisfaction to organizational commitment. Judging from the factors of employment, there were no significant differences in employee job satisfaction between organic and outsourced employees, but from the organizational commitment there is a difference where low organizational commitment in outsourced employees is higher than organic employees. Judging from the working lives factors, job satisfaction and organizational commitment are high within employees with five to ten years working period, but job satisfaction and low organizational commitment of the highest also found on this group. From the educational factor, discovered that employees with the highest job satisfaction and organizational commitment are those with educational background Strata 1 (S1).
