This research is aimed to measure the efficiency of Bank Mandiri and Bank Central Asia in the period of 2003 to 2010. In the recent year, the tight competition between both banks is apparently clear from the increasing of product, service quality, and financial indicator. This research will use Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method in measuring efficiency. The result indicates that in the current position which is the last two year, both banks have similar performance whereas both banks achieve efficiency. However, BCA is better than Bank Mandiri in the efficiency score development. The result also indicates that the main sources in both banks are total loans and total income.
