Summary:This research purposes to identify the external and internal business environment in the broadband internet services business unit of PT First Media, Tbk and evaluate strategies that suitable with the business conditions of PT First Media, Tbk on broadband Internet services business unit. This research illustrate how the business unit of PT First Media, Tbk able to survive and compete with its competitors in the broadband internet industry. This study begins by analyzing the internal and external environmental conditions of the company�s business unit. By using a matrix of External Factor Evaluation (EFE) and the matrix Competitive Profile (CPM), analyzing a company's internal factors with the matrix of the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE), matched with the company's business conditions by matrix-Opportunites-Threats- Weakness Strenghts (TOWS) matrix, Internal -External (IE), and establish best business strategy by using the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The researcher used Analytical Hierarchy Process method (AHP) for weighting the degree of importance of each faktor.yaitu by analyzing the external factors the company. Can be concluded that this business unit is in quadrant I when mapped on the internal external matrix (IE) which describes the internal factors lies in a strong position and external factors lies in the high position. Internet Broadband business unit of PT First Media, Tbk can implement an intensive strategy and integration strategies that can enhance the strengths of the company. At the stage of decision making by using the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix, there are six alternative strategies, ie market penetration strategy, market development strategy, product development strategy, the strategy of backward integration, forward integration strategies, and strategy of backward integration that can be chosen by the company. From the analysis, the results obtained the highest score is market penetration strategy. Therefore, the formulation of appropriate strategies and the most interesting strategy is market penetration.
