Summary:Timor Leste is a country that is relatively new in the world, so that the implementation of government there are still many shortcomings in all sectors. Similar to other countries in the world, Timor Leste has a goal to build a prosperous society. The achievement of these goals required the skills of human resources, internal control and internal auditors understanding of good governance in order to clean governance, fair, transparent and accountable in a more serious and systematic. This study aimed to examine the influence of human resource skills, independence, motivation, and understanding of the internal auditors about the good governance on the organization's performance in the Inspectorate of Timor Leste. The design uses cross-sectional survey research. This study uses census methods and the study population was all employees of SPI, internal auditors and the officials who did the examination in public sector governance of Timor Leste. The data analysis used multiple linear regressions. The study findings suggest that the ability of human resources, internal control and internal auditors understanding of good governance has a positive and significant influence on the performance of the organization of the Inspectorate of Timor Leste.
