| Summary: | The aim of the research is to analyze the efficiency or economizing before
and after the usage of e-procurement in the supplying of commodity and service
at Yogyakarta government based on the data collecting technique trough
observation and documentation by evaluating from the supply packet which was
held by Yogyakarta government in 2008 to 2010 and prove that e-procurement is
more efficient in the supplying of commodity and service
This research used archives strategy as data collection method and the data
source were gotten from the primary data in the form of the supply of commodity
and service report electronically and the supply of commodity and service data
conventionally in 2008 to 2010, the secondary data in the form of budget and
realization of commodity and service supply budget
The research successfully showed that the usage of e-procurement in
supplying commodity and service, there is an efficiency or higher economizing
than the supply of commodity and service conventionally at Yogyakarta
government. The gotten efficiency besides the efficiency or economizing from the
difference of ceiling value and contract value, the usage of e-procurement can
force the tender process, e-procurement auction process and negation of physical
meeting between service supplier and the auction committee or the official of
commitment maker before the contract sighing. Trough the commodity and
service supply by e-procurement, the colleagues need not to come continuously
because all can be seen trough internet and with e-Procurement, the secret of the
document between the vendor/ commodity and service supplier will be save.
