This study was conductedtoexamine the useandRespekandtheir
implications forsocial change. To that end, the researchisdonebyrelyingona
qualitative approach, tounderstandtheimplementation of theprogramandthe
phenomenon ofsocial change. Informants selectedfromsevencommunity
groups, theprogrambeneficiaries, villageofficials, religious leaders, youth
leaders, TPKK, districtofficers, informants selectedsothattotalas many as16
people.Data analysis wasconducteddescriptivelytoportraythe implementation
ofprogramandsocial change.
The analysis showedthat, inRespekoffundsamountingto
Rp.100,000,000,-, has been allocatedfor the construction ofroads, bridgesand
public toilet sinaccordancewith guidelines Respek. Planning and participationin
program implementationis good enough. While the socialan
deconomicimplicationsof thecase,appearsfromtheincreaseaksesibilitiasfromand
between villages,districts and countiesas well as theshifting attitudes ofbathing,
washing, and toilet facilities(MCK).
