description Bamboo as an organic building material in Indonesian was developed very rapidly. However, using bamboo as a construction material is still less attractive than using woods. This occurs because of bamboo stringing up technology still using the conventional technology such using rope, diarrhea and pin, which makes this joint not solid enough. It's suggest that connection strength of bamboo is very low. One of the solution to make the connection more stronger are using bolt on the connection while the connection part filled with resin. This experiment was started with characteristic test including bamboo compression strength test, bamboo tension strength test, bamboo shear strength test, bolt tension strength test, and resin compression strength test. After doing this characteristic test, there is a test about bamboo connection strength in various direction angel style (00, 450 and 900) and bamboo connection strength which caused by moment. The experimental object was made in full scale which given static moment. This testing object was forced until collapse. For connection strength collapse because of moment was designed and calculate with SAP2000. From initial test, we get many data about test result such as: average of bamboo compressive strength parallel to the grain is 46,507 MPa, average of bamboo tensile strength parallel to the grain without segment is 166,667 MPa, average of bamboo tensile strength parallel to the grain with segment is 121,429 MPa, average of bamboo shear strength parallel to the grain without segment is 3,059 MPa, average of bamboo shear strength parallel to the grain with segment is 4,338 MPa, average of bolt compressive strength is 615,32 MPa and average of resin tensile strength is 88,92 MPa. There is some conclusions from test result, such as: the lowest connection strength happened in 900 connection with maximum load at 1945,67 kg and the highest connection strength happened in 00 connection with maximum load at 2117,67 kg. From software design, given that maximum load (mean) which caused by moment is 1285 kg and gave stiffness value for object 1, 2 and 3 are 16,484 kNm, 24,66 kNm and 29,439 kNm.
