| Summary: | This study aimed to uncover the psychological aspects contained in
peresean fighter. Psychological aspects will be uncover from this research is
personality types, aggressive and self-control. Moreover, to enrich the results, this
study also conducted a correlation between personality type, aggressiveness and
self-control.
To uncover the psychological aspects of the fight peresean mentioned
above, this study used a descriptive-quantitative method. The data collection
techniques used were the questionnaire shaped the attitude scale. The subjects in
this study were 30 people fighters who are married, have children and already has
a nickname, and all subjects lived on the island of Lombok NTB. As for data
analysis, this study utilizing SPSS 17.00.
The results of this study indicate that the personality type of the fighter
peresean is ekstraversion personality type. The aggressiveness on peresean fighter
is in the middle category, this is because as much as 60.00% or 18 of the 30
subjects had aggressive tendencies are the mean of 82.60 and a standard deviation
of 21,598. Similarly, the self-control, the results of this study found that the
fighter peresean have self control medium, as evidenced by the results of data
analysis showed 80.00% or 24 of the 30 subjects had tendency of self-control is
medium. While the correlation analysis Spearman and Kendall tau_b produce
findings that only the aggressiveness and self-control are correlated with a low
degree of correlation, ie, with coefficient of 0377 for model Kendall tau_b.
