grade students of an elementary school and consist of 5 students as the
experimental group who were given mnemonic visual imagery methods treatment
and 5 students as a control group who were given conventional mufrodati methods
treatment. Analysis of the data is used non parametric statistical analysis by
Mann-Whitney U Test. The result of data analysis by Mann Whitney test showed
significant differences between experimental group and control group both on the
speed of reaction time with z= 2,611 (p<0.05) and the accuracy of reciting the Al-
Quran verses with z= 2,627 (p<0.05) and the accuracy of interpreting the Al-
