Agency for National Unity, Public Protection and Disaster Handling as one component of technical implementing governance in the region has a very important task in realizing stability and resilience in regional areas. Public service functions should be carried out by officials of National Unity Agency, Public Protection and Disaster Handling to ensure the continuing activities of local government in the public interest.
This study aims to determine how the Agency for National Unity and Disaster Handling in achieving understanding of the national outlook in Sleman, know the constraints, effectivity achieved and the extent of its implication for regional resilience. The method used is descriptive qualitative method, which seeks to reveal the facts that explain the factors that influence the way of collecting data through interviews and reviewing existing documents.
Stability and Resilience in the region largely determines the direction of development to be achieved by local governments. Relations between the existing agencies within the government and local government relations with the community should be well maintained and there should be harmonization and synergy between the parts.
The results showed that the role of the Agency for National Unity, Public Protection and Disaster Handling in enhancing the concept of national outlook society goes well, although there are still some problems faced. Factor of human resources and facilities / infrastructure to be one of the key role of the Agency for National Unity, Public Protection and Disaster Handling in realizing the concept of national outlook to enhance understanding of regional resilience. Another factor is the inadequate budgetary support to support the operational activities of understanding the national outlook in order to touch on all elements of society. For the future there is need for recruitment of officers who have the knowledge base on the concept of national outlook before being placed in proper position. |
