Summary:Gravitational waves in the Friedmann-Robertson-Walker spacetime are decomposed in various ways. The decomposition is held with asumption that this treatment is far away from the source and coordinat choosen is geodesic slicing. Fisrt Decompositon is done in the vacum solution. Second decomposition is done by gravitational waves extraction on the Robertson-Walker metric background. Moncrief gauge-invariant function is used for the extraction. Third decomposition is done by decomposition 3+1 ADM equations. The ways decomposition have been done can show waveform from gravitational waves in the FRW spacetime background.
