the quality and quality-oriented health care patient satisfaction. In achieving that
goal-oriented aspects of patient satisfaction that includes hospital facilities, the
role of doctors, nurses and non-medical hospital staff to be very important,
because their performance will determine the patient's perception of the services
provided.
Based on the assessment of performance indicators, Hospital Sultan
Imanuddin Pangkalan Bun already meet the standards set by the Directorate
General of Medical Care Ministry of Health. This indicates that the performance
of services, especially the nurses, who deal directly with patients from entry to
exit from the Hospital, has been good and in accordance with the Standard
Procedure nursing. Nevertheless there were still many complaints from patients,
whether it is to deliver customer service through Halo director, or through social
networking.
The purpose of this study was to examine whether there is a relationship
between the performance of Sultan Imanuddin Base Hospital nurse Pangkalan
Bun with the level of patient satisfaction. The study is expected to give a true and
accurate answers about the relationship of performance level of satisfaction with
patient care.
Performance includes nurses, discipline, attitude and behavior of nurses,
basic hospital procedures and implementation of nursing care. measurement of
patient satisfaction, there are fourteen elements that were examined, namely,
procedures, conditions of service, clarity of responsibility for care workers care
workers the ability of service personnel, ministry of justice get a service speed of
politeness and friendliness of the reasonableness of the cost of personnel services,
the certainty of the cost of environmental comfort and security service service .
The results of this study show a positive relationship exists between the
performance of nurses with patient satisfaction. This illustrates well if the
performance of nursing personnel, which is implemented in carrying out duties
with discipline and dedication of service high, for example, come in and go home
on time, quickly and fairly in the act, polite and friendly, and competent to use
medical equipment and nursing, will make the patient feel safe and comfortable so
it will certainly speed up the healing of disease, thereby improving the credibility
of the Hospital. |
