| description | Software project estimation is the process of estimating effort for
software development. Effort is the effort (person/month), schedule (months) and
cost. Estimation of software development is required to obtain results with high
accuracy.
Modification of the COCOMO II model adapted to the local
programming environment is considered to improve the accuracy and prediction
software. Personnel attribute cost driver of COCOMO II model is the attribute
that assesses the work of the project based on human resource therefore
considered important in the activities of an organization.
This study used 29 datasets from software development company. The
goal was to determine differences in outcomes effort estimation using COCOMO
II and COCOMO modification. COCOMO II models provide the accuracy 13.1%
and prediction 80% and the COCOMO modification models gives the accuracy
13.0% and the prediction 90%, so there is an increase 0,1% for accuracy and 10%
for prediction. |
