Summary: | Municipal Waste to the landfill will be decomposed by bacteria. On one hand,
an Animal Slaughtered House produces some wastes such as urine, manure and
rumen. On the other hand, the burning process of bricks industries produce their
waste as rice husk ash. All the wastes above have potentials for deteriorating the
environment. Many studies showed that the rice husk ash can be used for binding
nitrogen (N), phosphorous (P), and potassium (K). Therefore, all the wastes above
may be treated to be solid organic fertilizer.
In this research will be learned about the dimension effect and immersing
time of the rice husk ash into the decomposed leachate to the binded hara macro
content ( N,P, K). In this experiment, by using 15 treatments that consist of 5
various dimensions of rice husk ash, 3 immersing time period. The rice husk
dimensions in this experiment used are 20 mesh, 40 mesh, 60 mesh, 80 mesh dan
100 mesh, therefore the immersing periode taken 12 hours, 24 hours dan 36 hours.
The experiment results showed that the longer immersing time taken would
obtain increasing bound hara macro content. For immersing time taken of 36 hours
to the rice husk ash dimension of 20 mesh would be produced the highest nitrogen
content of 0,7624 %. Even though the highest P2O5 content of 2,0559 % was
obtained from the rice husk ash of 100 mesh with immersing time period of 36
hours. On the other hand the highest K2O content was 0,8498 % and was obtained
from the rice husk ash dimension of 60 mesh with 36 hours for immersing time
period. This organic fertilizer to be hoped can decrease the depending of inorganic
fertilizer by farmers. The other advantages of this fertilizer use are cheaper, avoids
of soil and environmental damage, and increases the agriculture product.
