Summary: | PT GMF AeroAsia which established in 2002 is the largest MRO
(Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) enterprise in Indonesia. The rapid growth of
Indonesian airline industry gives an opportunity for PT GMF AeroAsia to
increase revenue due to expansion of domestic�s MRO market volume. On order
to anticipate the market growth and increase its market share, PT GMF Aeroasia
needs to develop a right business strategy.
This research was conducted by analyzing company internal and external
environment to gain the enterprise�s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and
threats. By using SWOT analysis matrix, we can define some strategies that can
be used in domestic aircraft maintenance market.
The result shows that PT GMF Aeroasia have substantial opportunities in
domestic market and strong internal conditions. Some business strategies that can
be used by PT GMF AeroAsia is differentiation, intensive market penetration,
backward integration and conduct partnerships through joint ventures or alliances.
