To understand these issues, the authors use a qualitative research method that is based on library research, descriptive analysis through interviews in data collection. One hallmark of qualitative methods is its emphasis on the natural environment which means that data obtained directly from first-hand and the context and situation are understood and described the research subject widely and clearly.. The results showed that the Defence Cooperation Agreement between Indonesia and Singapore much harm the interests of the Government of Indonesia and subsequently proposed to be revised by adding new provisions in the Regulations implementing and separate the Defence Cooperation Agreement (Defense Cooperations Agreement) with the Extradition Treaty and force Singapore to discuss about the border dispute
