Summary: | Power distribution network in (state electricity company) distribution of
Central Java and Jogjakarta implement the Medium Voltage Network
distribution system three-phase, four wire. Implementation of the system refers
to the guidelines SPLN no: 3, 1978, which requires the grounding resistance of
each rod grounding electrode single stem up to 25 ohms. In the new network
system every 7 (seven) pole grounding electrode contained a single trunk and
each pole is not grounded.
In this study, measurements were taken prisoners single-rod grounding
electrode (individual) and resistance neutral grounding wire along the coast and
hills. Measurements were made on medium-voltage power lines which are
mounted three-phase Ground Rod and selected on the industry in the region of
APJ Semarang, Semarang UPJ West. Measurement results will be analyzed
with a statistical test to determine whether the average value of grounding
resistance and hilly coastal area still meets the criteria in SPLN 3: 1978.
Statistical testing also includes whether the average value of grounding
resistance with a hilly coastal area either alone or together with earth there are
significant differences.
The results obtained from the study that the magnitude of the average
value of the grounding of the coast and the hills are still eligible, Rt-p = 5.76
ohm and Rt-b = 14.58 ohms, the results obtained from statistical tests
manually. Of statistical tests using SPSS acquired, there are significant
differences, the average value of grounding resistance or with a single trunk,
between the coastal hills. Tested the homogeneity of the data obtained, the
grounding electrode resistance data are not homogeneous single rod, while the
resistance data with homogeneous neutral grounding wire.
