the achievement of the clean and health life habit of the socialization in Baubau City
it needs a tight cooperation between cross sector. This study aims to analyze the
public response to the socialization of clean and health life habit, and to examine the
factors affecting the public response to the socialization of clean and health life habit.
The basic method of this research is survey method. Research was conducted in
District Murhum (Lamangga and Lanto Villages) and District Wolio (Bataraguru and
Bukit Wolio Indah Villages) Baubau City. Respondents were taken using simple
random sampling technique with 80 house wives as respondents. Data ware analyzed
using proportion-test and multiple-regression-test. The proportion-test result showed
more than (>50%) people gave a high response to the clean and health life habit
program socialization. The variables that affected the public response to clean and
health life habit socialization were age, education, income, the attendance frequency
of the socialization, information media, motivation, perception, and socialization. The
multiple-regression-test result using backward method showed that there were three
of eight independent variables which have a significant effect to the public response
to the clean and health life habit socialization, i.e. income (0,019), attendance
frequency of the socialization (0,006) and perception (0,076), with a regression
equation that is income (-1,362), attendance frequency of the socialization (-1,335)
and perception (0,558). The simultaneous effect magnitude to the public response to
the clean and health life habit socialization was significant (Fh = 5,951, P = 0,001, R2
= 0,190 or 19%). |
