factors which affect length of stay of the odontogenic infection inpatients in
Departement of Oral and Maxillofacial RSUP Dr Sardjito Yogyakarta.
A retrospective study was carried out by assesment data from odontogenic
infection inpatient�s medical record in Departement of Oral and Maxillofacial
between January 2006 to Desember 2011. Following assess all records of
inpatient with odontogenic infection, obtained data from medical record were
analized using �² to identify the risk variables that related to length of stay and
logistic regression was used to determine the strongest variables that influence
length of stay.
Several potential risk variables for length of stay identified in this study are
white blood count (p<0,05), complication (p<0,01) and supporting treatment
(p<0,05), and only complication during treatment variable (p<0,05) is the
strongest significant factor that associated with length of stay. |
