Summary: | The use of mouse in human interaction with computers, it has become
something very important. The use of a standard mouse is usually done by moving
the mouse hardware with hands and fingers, and use of this hardware is limited
only to users who do not have a hand defect. This study was designed so that the
use of the mouse for users with hand disabilities, and control the mouse cursor is
selected based on processing the input image with a 1.3 MP webcam, frame rate
10 fps. Controling the cursor location is done by real-time face detection using the
haarcascade method, while controlling clicking activities carried out by blink
detection using SURF. Design�s result which has tested showed that application of
the haarcascade method to function properly for purposes of allocating the mouse
cursor, and mouse click events can be used successfully for click activity are not
bound by time restrictions.
