| Summary: | Cyber Cafe is a phenomena in Malaysia. It becomes the important part of modern life in both rural area and city. It plays some role on the society daily life since people are seeking for it. Since it become part of the life of the society, a person who operators the cyber cafe has the opportunity to make money and gained profit from it by the entrance of users. Taking into consideration the situation in Malaysia, most of cyber cafe user are children between ages of 7 years old to 18 years. If we talk about that age, we can conclude that, the person who prefers to enter the cyber cafe is school children. Concern about children's safety in online environment has resulted in demands for safeguards to protect their online privacy when involved with a wide variety of commercial websites. It is suggested that, our Parliament should enact a statute to govern the entrance of the children into cybercafe by imposing high duties towards the operators because the children are regarded as the group who are lack of maturity in determining for the best interest of their own self. This writing will focus on the duties and protection that the operators of the cyber cafe should exercise when dealing with the children. It also highlights the liabilities that may be imposed on the operators of the cyber cafe in relation to the entrance of the children into cyber cafe.
