(Chemistry)) In graph theory, an Autocatalytic Set is defined as a directed graph where every vertex has at least one incoming link. On the other hand, the Potential Method is an established graph based on a concept for optimization purpose. Firstly, a restricted form of Autocatalytic Set, namely Weak Autocatalytic Set, which is a derivation of transitive tournament is introduced in this study. A Weak Autocatalytic Set is defined to allow some freedom on connectivities of its vertices. Then, the classification of the tournament according to their transitivity and property of Autocatalytic Set are presented in this study. Secondly, a new mathematical concept, namely, Fuzzy Weak Autocatalytic Set is defined and its relation to transitive Potential Method is established. Furthermore, some theorems are proven to feature their properties. This study revealed that any preference graph is a fuzzy graph of Type 5. Finally, a novel ranking method by Fuzzy Weak Autocatalytic Set is proposed to accommodate Potential Method with fuzzy or uncertainties edges. An algorithm is developed, and then implemented on two published decision-making problems which are project manager selection and robots structures evaluation to illustrate as well as to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
