| Summary: | Established in June 2017, VALIDATE is an international network of researchers working to accelerate vaccine development for four neglected intracellular pathogens that cause significant mortality and morbidity globally: Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Leishmania spp., Burkholderia pseudomallei and Mycobacterium leprae. In 5 years, VALIDATE has grown to have more than 550 members from over 250 institutes across 72 countries and has had several successes and important outputs.
