Using a restricted data sample at high transverse jet energy, E(T,jet) > 6 GeV, the effective patton density f(y,eff(x(y)) = [q(x(y)) + qβ(x(y)) + 9/4 g(x(y))] in the photon in leading order QCD is measured down to x(y) = 0.05 from which the gluon density in the photon is derived.
